I went through your blog and I loved it. I am trying to get a feel for Brooklyn, moving there from Chicago soon--and it is breaking my heart cause I love my city here. I usually wander around in the outskirts and abandoned places here too and go daily to the trainyard fields with my dogs to hunt rabbits...anyway, there seems to be more wide open space in Chi-town and I have been looking for visual records of NYC- people who wander around and document. So- thanks!
I like the new posts, especially the houses, all the bizarre do-it-yrself places. American in the best and worst ways. Tasteless yet tireless too. Taking bad ideas to the very end and calling it home. Maybe that's just human, but the materials make it American, and the ultimate expressions are very Brooklyn/Queens.
unusually beautiful, as usual!
